save the date for the 2nd annual dickens in dillard: 12/12/26
We invite you to join us for the 1st Annual Dickens in Dillard — a Victorian Christmas Festival nestled in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains. Our vision is to create a cozy, storybook-inspired market village that feels like it stepped right off the pages of A Christmas Carol — twinkling lights, warm garlands, laughter, music, delicious scents, and holiday cheer in the air. ✨ Your creativity is what makes the festival come alive, and we encourage you to submit a vendor application to be part of this enchanting experience.
A complete vendor application for the Dickens in Dillard event will be available as the event gets closer and it will most likely include:
Photos of the products you’ll be selling
A photo or sketch of your booth setup
A simple note describing your costume style (Trust us — simple is perfect!)
Only approved products may be sold at the Victorian Christmas Festival to help maintain the festive and cohesive feel of the market. Please review all the information provided here before applying.
To keep our market village looking charming and consistent during the Dickens in Dillard event, all vendors agree to the following standards outlined in the vendor application for the Victorian Christmas Festival:
Tent Style Standard: Basic 10x10 white canopy tent ONLY (no exceptions).
Tent Appearance: No printed branding, lettering, or logos on the tent exterior.
Side Walls: Each vendor must provide 3 white tent sidewalls, installed during setup.
Front Tent Décor: Vendor agrees to allow festival organizers to decorate the front frame with removable, damage-free holiday décor for consistency. Decor remains the property of the festival.
For your participation in the Dickens in Dillard event, please use greenery, garlands, bows, fabric, wooden crates, and baskets for your display. All tables must be fully draped or skirted. Please refrain from using glitter, tinsel, metallic garland, or loose shiny sprinkles, as the mountain wind will find them 😅. Ensure that all items fit within your 10x10 footprint and remember that weights are required: a minimum of 40 lbs per tent leg is necessary for safety. These guidelines are important for your vendor application for the Victorian Christmas Festival.
Costumes are required for everyone working at the Dickens in Dillard event. A simple Victorian-inspired outfit is perfect! Think: shawls, scarves, vests, capes, bonnets, top hats, wooly wraps, and cozy layers. There’s no need to buy expensive costumes for the Festival! You can create a charming Victorian look using clothes you already own or with a quick stop at a thrift store. Aim for cozy, layered, and festive — not historically perfect. If it feels like a storybook Christmas village, you’re doing it right ✨

Electricity at Dickens in Dillard is provided for essential use only (Think Christmas lights, not high-watt appliances). No space heaters of any kind are permitted. The provided outlets are the ONLY acceptable source of electricity. For lighting, you may use propane or kerosene lanterns or oil lamps (please refer to the fire extinguishers section if using this option). Battery-operated lanterns or battery-operated lighting concealed in the underside area of the roof are also acceptable. Non-blinking holiday lights may be used for both lighting and decoration. Each booth at the Victorian Christmas Festival will be provided electricity. We strongly recommend that booths maintain the Victorian ambiance with historical lanterns or battery-operated lighting. Every booth using flammable materials MUST have a portable, functioning extinguisher. Please note that no pets are allowed for vendors or attendees (we love them, but not at this event).
Weather: This is a rain or shine event. If you choose to cancel due to weather, you may reapply next year, but vendor fees are non-refundable.
